Science and Mathematics

"While I am not for or against the Cabinet decision, I would like to urge the Government to allow the present batch of students who are already learning Science and Mathematics to continue to do so until they complete Form Six. It is not fair to change their medium of instruction mid-way.

If the Government indeed wants to revert to Bahasa Malaysia for national schools and the mother tongue in vernacular schools, I hope they would start afresh with Year One pupils in 2012. By doing this, there will be no interruption on the teaching and learning process."
