Friday Friday Friday!

Its Friday, which means I have survived my first week as a student in IMU. Had many briefings and participated in various embarrasing activities through the week. Attended the Senior-Junior Night last night. It was fun but pretty tiring considering that I have to drive back home late at night.

Played some "chain game" where the head of the chain was suppose to recruit members by holding their hands and pulling them to run together. When the music stops, we're suppose to find an empty chair and sit. (Sort of musical chair-ish) Imagine over 50 people running around almost squashed together in the circle. The losers (people who did not manage to find a seat) were "punished". I was one of the losers in the first round and my task was to imitate the 3 poses shown by the senior. Haha :D

The seniors served us great food, fried mee hoon and spagetti with a choice of barley and sarsi as drinks, and with watermelon and jelly as dessert even though their budget was just RM 1.95 per person. They showed us a video specially to welcome us junior to IMU :) It was really funny watching the seniors wishing us "Welcome to IMU" and "Welcome to N&D" in different ways.

Played another game in which we were assigned to different groups and tie ourselves with the string provided. Then, we were supposed to work as a team and try undo those tangles. My group emerged as the winner. Go BLUE KEY! :D

Found my 8 of hearts partner. He is a senior name Jaron!

Met my mentor, Georgen! He seems really nice and is willing to help us mentees with our problems :D

Feeling optimistic about N&D! It looks really fun and interesting albeit being tired and sleepy by 10.30pm everyday >.<

Went to the MDLs this morning after the briefing session. Feeling nervous as to how to handle the apparatus in a correct manner. Discovered that the way we were taught to fold the filter paper in high school, and in pre-u was totally WRONG.
Came into uni unprepared but......

I CAN DO IT!! SAYA BOLEH! :D

hugs and kisses Y
